1. Kickstart the season the right way
Head down to Battersea Evolution this October and join us in getting excited for the season ahead, we can’t wait. From the 25 to the 28 October we are bringing all things ski & snowboard to the city of London. Test out your skills on Chel-ski's slope, receive personalised guidance from skills expert Warren Smith and his team or simply soak up the atmosphere in our beautiful alpine bar, brought to you by Quiksilver. There’s so much to do at the festival this year.
2. Find the perfect resort
All of the biggest and best ski resorts are at the festival. Whether you want to stay local or go further afield on your next winter holiday we’ve got you covered. Hear all about what’s new in Norway, the latest from the French Alps, or if you fancy venturing further afield, find out why you should be heading to the United States on your next skiing adventure.
3. Take a glimpse into next season’s kit
Discover what you should be wearing on the slopes next season. Whether you’re style conscious or tech-savvy, expect all of best brands. See what’s new and get top tips from a plethora of mountain retailers including Snow+Rock, Finches, Planks and Rossignol.
4. Fun for all the family
The Telegraph Ski & Snowboard Festival is a real family affair. Catering for all ages, expect bundles of fun and lots of laughter. Take to new heights on our vintage ferris wheel, glide around with all the family on our very own ice rink, brought to you by Crystal Holidays or take advantage of our kid’s treasure hunt offering impressive prizes. If that doesn’t excite you this will... all of our attractions come at no extra cost! The Telegraph Ski & Snowboard Festival is the only place to be this October half term.
5. Foodie heaven
Welcome to foodie heaven! If you love to try different street food, we have it all in one place for you. Our street feasters are bringing everything you could ever dream of, from alpine raclette to greek souvlaki it’s all going to be there.
6. Enjoy extra après
Double the après, double the fun! On Friday and Saturday from 5pm is when the party really gets started. Think live music, DJs, incredible pro-athlete competitions and so much more. Famous First Words is back, so get ready to sing your hearts out. On Saturday we welcome Sunset Sons who will be rocking the Ski Club of Great Britain. Relax and take in the atmosphere up in The Neilson Lodge, or in our Alpine bar. Whatever you decide to do, a fun-filled night is guaranteed.
7. Exclusive live performance from the Sunset Sons
New for 2018, the Ski Club of Great Britain are hosting their very own stage, where talented musicians will be performing for your entertainment. The impressive line-up includes an exclusive performance from Sunset Sons, a group of surfers, who have swapped waves for stages and beaches for Battersea Park and are ready to impress at this year’s festival.
8. Mount Battersea is back and better than ever
One of the events most popular features returns - London’s largest real snow kicker standing tall at 50ft tall is back yet again for another year of fun. Some of the best ski and snowboard athletes will be competing in the coolest of competitions and demos. Expect epic tricks and an electric atmosphere, all brought together by our resident Mount Battersea host and BBC’s Pyeongchang 2018 Olympic Winter Games presenter, Tim Warwood.
9. The perfect location
The Telegraph Ski & Snowboard Festival is set in the heart of London's stunning Battersea Park. Easily accessible by both public transport and car, there’s no excuses as to why you can’t be there. Make sure to take advantage of our complimentary shuttle service provided by our welcome partner MPI Brokers, as they will be assisting visitors from Chelsea Gate to our entrance.
10. Meet the Athletes
Following the Winter Olympic Games successes, British Ski and Snowboard will be bringing along some of the top names to the Festival to meet and greet fans and take part in live Q&A’s. Get the chance to watch them drop some gnarly jumps on the kicker, and take part in Jimmy’s Big Air competition on Saturday. A firm favourite for the whole crowd!
