That's all about the change at The Telegraph Ski & Snowboard Show where visitors will have the chance to watch professional and amateur skiers and riders perform.

There's a number of competitions and demonstrations taking place over the four days of the Show, on both Mount Battersea and the outside rail - this is your chance to see the talent for yourself, don't miss out.

Competitions on Mount Battersea

London Ride

The first London Ride Big Air competition was in 2003 and since it has continued to provide a vital stepping stone for young freestyle talent onto the international competition scene. London Ride is a chance for UK skiers and riders to show off their skills to the crowd, make a name for themselves and impress their potential sponsors - UK Winter Olympians James 'Woodsy' Woods, Murray Buchan and James Machon have all previously competed in the London Ride competition, proving just how far the exposure can get you.

The London Ride is returning to the Show and Mount Battersea again this year with heats held across the weekend, followed by a live final.

Athletes confirmed on the start list so far include, Madi Rowlands, Callum Welch, Will Tucker and Harry Shaw - all of whom are making waves on the freestyle scene. Watch out for more names to be announced.

The British Ski and Snowboard Freestyle Championship demonstrations - The BRITS

The BRITS return to Laax, Switzerland, every season, but this year The Telegraph Ski & Snowboard Show will host warm up demonstrations for the athletes involved. This is your chance to see GB's top riders and skiers before they start their training for the Winter Olympics in Pyeonchang in 2018. Confirm athletes so far include Team GB's Murray Buchan, Cal Sandieson and Madi Rowlands plus 11 year old Brad Fry. Joining them will be Sparrow Knox, who's currently one of the most progressive riders in the UK - together they're set to demonstrate some of the best tricks and stunts British skiing and snowboarding has to offer.

Competition on the outside rail

University Downtown Throwdown

For the first time ever this year the Show has teamed up with Jibworx and Wasteland Ski to host the final of their university tour. Before the show, the Downtown Throwdown competition will travel around the UK seeking out the best university ski and snowboard talent in rail jam competitions. The winners of each heat will be showcasing their skills and competing in the final live at the Show on Saturday.

Never seen a rail jam before? Throughout the weekend the will be live sessions demonstrating what it takes to master tricks and a chance to the competition universities to enjoy the alpine apres vibe of the Show.
