As Europe's southernmost ski resort, Sierra Nevada enjoys more days of sunshine per year than any other winter domain in the continent (over 80% of sunny days). Sun and Snow is possible due to high altitude (resort base level at 2100m - top station at 3300m), guaranteeing a great snow cover from the end of November through to end of April and with 350 advanced snow cannons.
The leading ski resort in Spain offers incredible views to the Mediterranean Sea from an unique and stunning location, just 30 minutes away to the historical city of Granada and 70 minutes to the Tropical Coast. Accessing to the resort is not a big deal with international direct flights to Granada Airport (54 km - 50 minutes) from Manchester and London and Malaga International Airport (160 km - 2 hours) from all over the UK.
With more than 106 kilometres of trails for all levels in 124 marked slopes (21 lifts), the ski area offers the greatest skiable vertical drop in Spain (1,200 metres). Sierra Nevada's Terrain Park offers one of the longest slope style line in Europe with a 2.5 km. long park and has been proud to host this previous winter season the 2017 FIS Freestyle Ski & Snowboard World Championships.
