We are super excited to announce that pioneering explorer, Arctic adventurer and author Sir Ranulph Fiennes will speaking about his life achievements at #TeleSkiFest on Friday 25th October.

Known as ‘the world’s greatest living explorer’, Sir Ranulph is ready to inspire guests with plenty of incredible travel stories. Famous for undertaking the Transglobe Expedition from 1979-82 and being one of the first to travel 900 miles in a straight line through an unexplored area the size of France, his talk is set to be epic.

2019 marks ten years since Sir Ranulph became the oldest Briton to summit Everest. He was the first to reach both poles, cross the Antarctic and Arctic oceans and is the author of 23 books, including The Telegraph’s UK bestseller The Feather Men.

Sir Ranulph commented, “I am pleased to be the first speaker at this year’s Ski and Snowboard Festival. I have been leading expeditions worldwide for 50 years and look forward to attending the event, alongside the Telegraph’s Ski and Snowboard experts and selection of exhibitors. I am looking forward to meeting folk who look forward to their own travel adventures to discuss some of their experiences and the destinations and moments that I treasure most. I hope to encourage visitors to push their boundaries, to travel deeper and to book meaningful and memorable travel experiences.”

So what are you waiting for? Don’t miss out on the iconic explorer that is Sir Ranulph Fiennes. Sir Ranulph's talk will be taking place at 1pm in The Inghams Lodge. See you there!
