Festival favourites, The Snow Centre will be decking out the festivals main feature ‘Mount Battersea’ with real-snow. Our kicker of almost 50ft wouldn’t be able to run the way it does without them. So we wanted to take this moment to give them a well-earned shout out.
If you don’t know about The Snow Centre, let us educate you. It’s the closest indoor real snow slope to London. The centre is based in Hemel Hempstead, and is home to a 160m main slope and the largest indoor lesson slope in the UK. Host to a range of ski and snowboard lessons, for adults and children; it’s ideal for novices and those looking to progress their skills. Make sure you visit The Snow Centre at the festival, they will be on stand OC18 giving out 10,000 free lift passes to their slope.
New for 2019, The Snow Centre in association with Snow-Camp will be bringing a ski taster experience, so kids aged between four and 10 years old can hit the snow. Never skied or boarded before? No problem. With mini ramps and slopes, expert instructors from The Snow Centre will be on-hand to help and guide them on their first snowy experience. Sound like something you’d be interested in?
